Fishing has been good with the possible exception of the whipping winds that TS Fay has been blowing across the peninsula.
With that caveat stated, night fishing is what you do in August. I've caught SO MANY SNOOK this month. My friend from New Jersey caught a 42 inch snook when I took him out and he SUCKS at fishing. It was like a twilight zone episode.
The real problem with night fishing is that it's darn hard to take a decent picture because of the mosquitoes and the rain and the flash and the headlamp, and the damn, damn darkness. You're just going to have to trust me. Shoot! the stories are better that the pictures anyhow. I caught a 45 foot long snook last night.

Snook everywhere. Seriously. I recommend a little white lure, any flavor and you'll just plain kill it.
